The cyanotype is a non-silver, non-darkroom technique invented in 1842. The media, be it paper or fabric, is treated with chemicals and contact printed in the sun. The resulting images are a beautiful cyan-blue. The process is the same that helped architects and engineers create blueprints throughout the 20th Century.
